PMMS - Proactive Move Management Systems Framework developed the PMMS to assist rig owners or operators in improving the management of moving their MODU by supplying help and cost savings now when it’s needed. The PMMS is designed to: Improve preparation. Reduce move time. Improve safety. Enhance the management process of the move. Improve maintenance of the equipment used during the move. Improve readiness for the drilling operators. Improve regulatory compliance. Reduce costs that apply directly to the project’s bottom line. To achieve these goals, the PMMS utilizes the following: Pre-move meeting participation Proactive Move Audit --- pre-move inspection of the rig--- at least two week prior to the move. Liaison with anchor handling vessel, mooring contractor, tugboat vessel, and drilling contractor Identification of proposed mooring equipment, certification documentation, load-out planning, and witnessing of documentation Participation as Rig Mover or Company Marine Representative during the move process Supplying competent personnel as requested. Reports at the end of the move include lessons learned and recommendations. Framework’s PMMS is designed to assist the onboard operator representative and improve the management of the rig move process through regular communication and logistics updates. Framework’s representatives obtain a hands-on confirmation of the mooring equipment location and communicate this information to rig operations, minimizing any last-minute questions and reducing the stress associated with the rig move. They act as a liaison between the rig operators, anchor handling vessel operator, tugboat captain, and mooring contractor to improve timing and allow rig operations to better manage the mobilization process. The Proactive Move Audit (PMA) provides customers with a limited inspection of the rig and its personnel as pertaining to rig move purposes. To conduct the required audit, a Framework representative travels to the rig, assess the situation, evaluates equipment, and talk with the rig’s personnel. This assessment takes place at least two weeks prior to the rig move to allow for correction or mediation of deficiencies. The results of the audit determine Framework’s suggestions to the customer on how to improve work scope performance and conduct a smooth, accident-free rig move. We Support Operation
